About Me...
Hello, I’m Sharinder, a dedicated SAC registered professional counsellor. I hold a Master’s in Counselling from Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. I am a registered clinical member of the Singapore Association of Counselling, and an associate member of Transactional Analysis Singapore. I have attained practitioner certifications for Transactional Analysis (TAP) from USATAA, Brainspotting from Brainspotting AustralAsia Pacific, Choice Theory and Reality Therapy from the William Glasser Institute. Additionally, I am an accredited facilitator for the Prepare & Enrich marriage preparation and enrichment programme, as well as The Good Enough Parenting professional training. I have also completed my Professional Certificate in Sexuality Education with Dr. Martha Tara Lee.
Before officially joining the counselling field, I provided social-emotional and behavioural support to students as an educator for over 12 years. My expertise spans across various age groups, including teens, adults, and parents. I work with clients on emotional regulation, personal development, stress management, motivation, grief and loss, trauma, conflict resolution, anxiety, sexual concerns, relationship and communication skills. I also support parents in healing and improving their relationship with their child. I provide trauma-informed care and am currently working towards my certification in Compassionate Inquiry.
My therapeutic approach incorporates mind-body-based skills using a range of modalities such as person-centered therapy, Transactional Analysis, CTRT, Brainspotting, and breathwork. I am also LGBTQ+ affirmative and believe in supporting all individuals regardless of their sexual orientation and history to live their best life through self-acceptance and self-empowerment. My goal is to help clients shift from a survival mindset to a thriving mindset by navigating the journey of life with confidence, resilience, and a growth mindset. I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental, and nurturing environment for my clients to receive the necessary support for their wellbeing.
As a new mom, I have pivoted my practice to provide counselling support virtually to better balance the demands of motherhood while still pursuing my passion for providing empathic support to my clients. I am available for appointments from Mondays to Wednesdays between 11 am and 5.30 pm (SGT). If you require a different time slot, please message me, and I will do my best to accommodate where possible.

I hope to have the privilege to collaborate with you on your journey towards living your best life. =)
